
London’s pound plunged on Friday to a three-year low against the US dollar after US President Donald Trump’s election win.
The dollar fell by nearly 2% to 82.5 pence.
The British pound has fallen about 3% since Trump’s victory and is currently trading at a two-year high of about $1.15.
The dollar is down about 2% against the euro.
The euro is down 0.7% against a basket of major currencies.
The US dollar fell against the Japanese yen.
The pound has lost more than 2% since last November’s election.
